Sunday School is a time to grow deeper in your faith through Bible study, meaningful discussion, and Christian fellowship. With classes for every age and stage of life, there's a place for everyone to connect and grow together.

Sunday Schools

  • The Friendship Sunday School Class is a caring and loving Christian Fellowship. We are Senior Citizens - mostly retired but a few still part of the vital work force of our community.

    Several members are Charter Members of Crossgates UMC. They are a supporting group of the church and community and take time to care for one another in their group as well as those who are homebound.

    We are young at heart and have a loving and caring spirit for each other, our country and community. Jesus Christ is the Rock we lean on and prayer for guidance each day. 

  • This class focuses on the needs in the church and the community here and now. They study books of the bible and other resources to disciple. Some of the service work they have helped with is Backpack Buddies, Angel Tree, purchasing glasses for a child in need, and many more. This is a great class for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God as well as serve those around them.

  • A good mix of bible study and group discussions about everyday life. Applying the bible to where and the situations they are currently in.

  • Children discover God's truth through age-appropriate Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and caring teachers who help them grow in their faith each week.

  • People with young families who are currently focusing on the Old Testament. They have also spent time studying other books of the bible as well as other book studies they find throughout the year. 

  • This group focuses on bible-centered lesson with emphasis relating to their current lives. 

  • Meets in the Youth Building

    Taught by Jordan Martella. Our Youth Sunday School is a place for students in grades 7–12 to grow in their understanding of God's Word, ask honest questions, and build lasting friendships as they deepen their faith together.
